Our 24-hour forecasts are typically accurate within 2°F for temperature and within 10% for precipitation probability. Forecast accuracy decreases with time, with 7-day forecasts generally accurate within 5°F for temperature. We continuously improve our algorithms and incorporate real-time user reports to enhance accuracy.

For critical planning, we recommend checking our frequently updated hourly forecasts and severe weather alerts. Remember that all weather forecasts have inherent uncertainty, especially beyond 7 days.

To set up severe weather alerts:

1. Log in to your Tempchant account
2. Go to Settings > Notifications
3. Select "Severe Weather Alerts"
4. Choose your preferred alert types (tornado, flood, winter storm, etc.)
5. Set your notification preferences (push, email, SMS)
6. Specify your locations (home, work, etc.)
7. Adjust alert sensitivity if desired

Our severe weather alerts are powered by official National Weather Service data and our proprietary detection algorithms. You can receive alerts for up to 5 locations.

We appreciate user reports that help improve our service. To report incorrect data:

1. In the app, go to the location with incorrect data
2. Tap the "Report" button (ⓘ icon)
3. Select "Report Incorrect Data"
4. Specify what's incorrect (temperature, precipitation, etc.)
5. Optionally attach photos of current conditions
6. Submit your report

Our meteorology team reviews all reports and makes adjustments to our models when verified. For immediate concerns, you can email data@tempchant.com with details.

Tempchant takes privacy seriously. We:

• Encrypt all data in transit and at rest
• Never sell your personal information
• Allow you to control what data you share

Commercial use of Tempchant data requires a separate license. We offer several options:

To delete your account:

1. Log in to your account on our website (not available in-app)
2. Go to Account Settings
3. Select "Delete Account" at the bottom
4. Confirm your password
5. Follow the verification steps

Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be erased in accordance with our data retention policy. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately before deleting your account.
